Dr. David Steinbok clinical psychologist

Dr. Steinbok is a Doctor of Psychology, and a clinical psychologist who supports the theory that when people have a safe place to express emotions, they can remove mental blocks or symptoms that interfere with everyday life.

By providing an empathic, warm, non-judgmental environment, clinical psychologist Dr. Steinbok helps people understand how they have developed and maintained feelings about themselves and others that might contribute to internal and/or external conflicts. These conflicts might be expressed in their relationships with others, their difficulty with work or being productive, and their struggle to enjoy life.

His main focus on treatment is the quality and dynamics of the therapeutic relationship. He believes that the therapeutic relationship is a microcosm of other or outside relationships. Therefore, the conflicts that ensue within the safety of the therapeutic relationship must be explored and understood for the purpose of effectively coping with or enhancing these interpersonal relationships.
